Bij wie wordt de DHI-methode toegepast?
De DHI-methode heeft de voorkeur bij mannen of vrouwen die een haartransplantatie willen zonder het hele haar af te laten scheren. De DHI behandeling is heel geschikt voor mensen die weinig haartransplantatie nodig hebben. Vooral de patiënten die alleen bij de voorlijn minder inhammen willen hebben. Verschil tussen DHI-methode en ICE FUE
Bij de DHI-methode, zoals bij de FUE-techniek, worden haarzakjes weggenomen met behulp van een micromotor, het enige verschil is de implantatiefase. Terwijl bij de ICE FUE methode tot 6000 haarzakjes geïmplanteerd kunnen worden, is dit aantal bij de DHI-methode beperkt tot 3000 haarzakjes. De belangrijkste reden hiervoor is dat het een procedure is waarvoor deskundigheid, netheid vereist is en het implanteren alleen door een specialist uitgevoerd wordt. Allereerst vindt er een consult plaats voorafgaand de operatie. De anamnese wordt ingevuld, de gezondheidsproblemen van de patiënt, de geschiedenis van haarverlies, gewoonten, alcohol- en rookgebruik worden in kaart gebracht. De haarlijn en de gebieden waar geïmplanteerd gaat worden, worden in overleg met de patiënt afgetekend. Er wordt een bloedtest uitgevoerd en de haren geschoren.
